Vision
We envision a society where refugees, migrants and local communities can live, grow and thrive together. A society where people arriving in a new country feel welcomed, valued and supported, and where everyone has the opportunity to participate fully in community life, achieve their potential and build a secure and hopeful future.
Mission
For over 30 years, RWCA has supported refugees, migrants and local communities across North London. Through advice, advocacy, education, wellbeing activities and community programmes, we help people overcome barriers, access opportunities and navigate the challenges of life in a new country.
Our mission is to create welcoming spaces where people can connect, learn, share experiences and build meaningful relationships. We work to reduce isolation, strengthen community connections and support individuals and families to live independent, confident and fulfilling lives.
Values
Our work is rooted in respect, inclusion, empowerment and community participation. We believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, have equal access to opportunities and feel a sense of belonging.
By listening to the communities we serve, working collaboratively and celebrating diversity, we help create stronger, more connected and more resilient communities.
Impact
For more than 30 years, RWCA has helped people build connections, access support and create new opportunities for themselves and their families. Through our services, activities and community programmes, we help reduce isolation, improve wellbeing and support people to become active and valued members of society.
Every day, we see the positive impact that connection, support and belonging can have on people's lives. Whether helping someone navigate a new system, develop new skills, build confidence or simply feel welcomed, our work is about creating opportunities and strengthening communities for the long term.
