Employment Support

We believe work should provide dignity, fairness and opportunity for everyone. We support individuals not only in accessing employment and training opportunities, but also in understanding and standing up for their workplace rights.

Alongside employment guidance, we support migrant workers through our Migrant Workers Union initiative, developed in collaboration with United Voices of the World (UVW). Through solidarity, collective action and community support, we aim to help workers understand their rights and strengthen their voices.

Our support includes:

☑️ Guidance on employment opportunities and pathways into work
☑️ Signposting to training courses and skills development programmes
☑️ CV support and job application guidance
☑️ Help accessing education and employment services
☑️ Information on workplace rights and legal protections
☑️ Support understanding contracts, payslips and employment terms
☑️ Guidance around unfair treatment and workplace concerns
☑️ Signposting to specialist legal and employment support services
☑️ Support for migrant workers facing barriers in the workplace
☑️ Workshops and awareness sessions on workers’ rights
☑️ Opportunities to build confidence, skills and knowledge
☑️ Access to a supportive community built on solidarity and collective action

We recognise that many migrant workers face insecurity, unequal treatment and barriers in the workplace. Through partnerships and community-led initiatives, we aim to help people access support, understand their rights and feel empowered to seek fair treatment.

Migrant Workers Union

Our Migrant Workers Union initiative works alongside workers and communities to promote fairness, awareness and support. We encourage people to come together, learn about their rights and strengthen collective voices against exploitation and inequality.
