My Children’s First Friends

When we first arrived in London, everything felt unfamiliar and difficult. Through the events organised by RWCA, both we and our children no longer felt alone. Our children played, made friends, and adapted to their new environment more easily. We also met people who shared similar experiences and began to feel like part of a family.

Looking back today, we realise these events were not just simple gatherings, but an important space of solidarity that helped us hold on to a new life.
