Home Starter Kits Project
RWCA is pleased to announce that we have received support through the B&Q Foundation Home Starter Kits programme to help individuals and families create safer, more comfortable, and welcoming homes as they begin new chapters in their lives. Many members of our community, including refugees, survivors of domestic abuse, vulnerable families, and individuals experiencing financial hardship, often face significant challenges when moving into a new home or rebuilding their lives. Starting over can be difficult, particularly when access to essential household items is limited. Through this support, RWCA will help individuals and families access practical home essentials that can make a meaningful difference in everyday life. Creating a comfortable and supportive living environment can play an important role in helping people feel more settled, secure, and connected within their communities. By supporting people during important life transitions, we hope to help build stronger foundations for wellbeing, dignity, and new beginnings. We look forward to sharing updates as this important initiative develops.
