Rengin Women’s Choir
Rengin Women’s Choir was founded in North London in November 2020 to support women within the Turkish and Kurdish communities, particularly those affected by isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic. The choir was created as a welcoming and supportive space where women could come together, share experiences and find strength through solidarity, music and cultural activities.
Our mission is to build an empowering and inclusive community for women. Through music, conversation and shared experiences, we encourage women to express themselves, build confidence and form meaningful social connections within the community.
Rengin Women’s Choir also promotes women’s rights, cultural diversity and collective wellbeing. We believe in the healing and unifying power of music and strive to create spaces where women feel heard, supported and connected.
Over time, the choir has become more than a singing group — it has grown into a supportive social space where women can meet new people, share experiences and feel part of a strong and welcoming community.
Whether you enjoy singing or simply want to meet new people and be part of a supportive environment, you are always welcome to join us.
